My guests this morning are familiar faces to me, they’ve been fishing with me a couple years now and I always enjoy having them out. We set out this morning looking for snook and redfish before the tide pushed us out of the backcountry. With our first cast of the morning we threw a large pin fish out and within a couple minutes Rob was hooked up with a giant. He fought for several minutes and once the fish was boat-side we pulled up his biggest snook at 33 inches. After a quick picture we released the fish safely and she swam off to fight another day. From then on out we caught both of the boys limit of mangrove snapper, tons of smaller snook, a few trout and various fish in between. Half day inshore trip produced a lot of fish in a short amount of time and the boys left with more than enough on their plate for tonight.
